Ignore Drivers from a Driver Scan in DriverFinder
Last Updated 9 months ago
When a driver scan is completed, a list of detected items is shown. You can choose to ignore drivers that are detected at any given time. However, note that when you add a driver item to the Ignore list, it will not show up in succeeding DriverFinder scans.
To Ignore a Driver:
- On the DriverFinder main window, click the Scan Results button.
- Right-click the driver you want to ignore and then click Ignore.
- On the pop-up window, select Yes. The selected driver will now be removed from the list of outdated drivers in the Scan Results.
To View a List of Ignored Drivers:
- On the DriverFinder main window, click the Settings button.
- In Settings, click the Ignored button.
- The ignored devices will appear in this window.
To Re-Include an Ignored Driver:
- On the DriverFinder main window, click the Settings button.
- In Settings, click the Ignored button.
- Click the checkbox beside each of the devices you want to re-include, then click the include button.
- The device will now show again in the Scan Results if a new driver is available for the device. You may need to run a new Scan to see any updates for the device.
