Frequently Asked Question
Sometimes, Windows insists on using certain drivers because it is a signed driver, which Microsoft prefers. This, however, prevents you from benefiting from certain features that the hardware manufacturer (e.g., SiS, VIA, HP, Realtek, etc.) intends for you to have.
You can still update to new device drivers but do this via the Windows Hardware Update Wizard. This way, you are telling your Windows PC, to use the new drivers you want.
Note: The steps below assume that you have already downloaded and installed the new driver recommended by DriverFinder.

- Click the Windows Start button and select Run.
- Type devmgmt.msc, then click the OK button to open Device Manager.
- In the View menu of the Device Manager, click Show hidden devices.

- In the Hardware Update Wizard window, select No, not this time and click Next.
