To download and install 7-Zip in Windows 11.

1. Open a browser and go to the 7-Zip download page: 7-Zip Download Page
   
   
2. Click the Download button based on your Windows OS Architecture.
   
   
   
3. Go to your browser's download location and install the downloaded 7-Zip setup file.
   
   
   

Once you have installed 7-Zip in Windows 11, you will need to set up 7-Zip as the default extractor for all possible extensions. To set 7-Zip as the default extractor:

1. Click the Windows Start button.
   
   
2. Type the following in the search bar: 7-zip file manager
   
   
3. The 7-Zip File Manager app will appear, click the Run as administrator option.
   
   
   
   
4. In the pop-up 7-Zip File Manager window, click the Tools tab, and then select Options.
   
   
   
   
5. Click the two buttons with a "+" above your username and All Users. This will set 7-Zip as the default extractor for the selected extensions.
   
   
   
   
6. Click the Apply button, then click the OK button.
