How to Start and Exit DriverFinder?

To start DriverFinder:

You can launch DriverFinder in one of two ways.


  1. Double-click the DriverFinder icon on the desktop.

    -OR-

  2. Search in the Windows Start button.

    • For Windows XP, Vista and 7:

      1. Click the Windows Start button > All Programs > DriverFinder

      2. Select DriverFinder.

    • For Windows 8 and 8.1:

      1. Press the Windows key to open the Start screen.

      2. Hover the mouse pointer in the lower-left of the Start screen and click the drop-down arrow button.

      3. Click the Search bar.

      4. Type driverfinder, then select the DriverFinder app in the search result.

    • For Windows 10 and 11:

      1. Click the Windows Start button.

      2. Type driverfinder, then select DriverFinder under Best Match.

To exit DriverFinder:

You can exit DriverFinder in one of two ways.


  1. Click the Close button located at the top-right of the main window.

  2. Right-click the DriverFinder icon in the task bar and click Exit.
